In general, “Affect” is most often used as a verb and “Effect” as a noun. So Adam & Eve are a great reminder: just note how the initiating “Action” of a verb (Adam/Affect) is often followed by the “End” result, a noun (Eve/Effect). Not what you’d call theologically accurate, but it works.
